We were very grateful last month to have been able to provide a good home to a collection of fourteen birds previously belonging to the Oxfordshire Museum Services.
These fourteen birds arrived in display cases and handling boxes, and will be appearing around Science classrooms over the next few days and weeks to be used in lessons and displayed for students, staff and visitors.
The birds include a Siskin, Twite, a male and female Blackcap, Red-breasted Merganser, White-fronted Goose, Lapwing, House Martin, Sandwich Tern, Moorhen, Tufted Duck, Swift, Greenshank and Bittern.
You can view the individual pages and images for each bird on the Rumble Museum website here.
Over the next few weeks, we will work with groups of Cheney students to create display boards for each of these beautiful birds.
